I am a tutor who is passionate about language. I can work with students on their reading, writing, literature, phonics, French, English, Spanish, and more. I'll also help anyone who needs assistance editing an essay or writing their college essay. If a student needs to prepare for a standardized test, I can do that as well! I am currently working towards my degree in English and Journalism at Loyola University Chicago. I am fluent in both Spanish and French, and as an undergraduate student I have studied abroad in Paris. I have experience working with students of all ages from elementary students to adult students on a variety of subjects. As a tutor I try to make all of my sessions fun and engaging. I use games and exercises that foster enthusiasm among my students. I want to provide my students whatever it is that they need to succeed and feel confident in their abilities. I know what it's like to struggle as a student, and I empathize with all of the students that I work with. That's why I want to help! When I am not tutoring I enjoy writing, reading interesting books, going on runs, and spending time outside.
