I believe that preparation is key to success, and my goal as a tutor is to help my students feel ready, comfortable, and confident when it comes to studying and passing a test. I work with my students individually to set up goals, find out issues that are causing problems or confusion, and work on those through a personalized plan. I've worked in a variety of settings, including for different companies, at nonprofits, and as an independent contractor. I've worked with both individuals and large groups, and I believe my combination of education, experiences, and the utilization of individualized plans is an asset to me as a tutor. I am able to tutor students in a wide variety of subjects, including all kinds of test preparation for the SAT (including the writing and math portions), PSAT prep, GMAT prep, GRE prep, Public Speaking, Psychology, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, AP Subjects, Social Science, and Study Skills. I am a graduate of the College of William and Mary, as well as the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have earned a B.A. in Business, my master's degree in Education, and a doctoral degree in Business Administration. Besides working with my students, I enjoy traveling, and I have been to many different locations. I also like to be outdoors and practice photography.
