I am in my first year of working toward my master's degree at the University of Illinois. I spent the last year in Madrid, serving as a learning assistant teaching English. This opportunity allowed me the ability to work with language, travel, and immerse myself in a different culture. I have a wide variety of experiences working with students of all ages, including working as a camp counselor, teaching, and babysitting. I am able to help students in many subjects, including Biology, all levels of Spanish, English skills, standardized test prep for the ACT and SAT, and more. I enjoy helping my students discover an interest in what they are learning. I believe that when a student is interested, they have an easier time learning.In my free time, I enjoy cooking, dancing, reading a good book, traveling, and studying new languages.
