Experience
I received my bachelor's and master's degree in classical Latin. Upon receiving my master's degree, I started a post-graduate work program in Latin at the University of Chicago, in addition to writing my own textbook for high school students learning the Latin language. Along with my career as an academic writer, I'm also working as a novelist and have written a number of short stories that were published in various literary journals. I am very passionate about literature and the Latin language, and am eager to help anyone interested in improving their writing skills or understanding of the Latin language. With more than a decade of experience working as a teacher at some of Chicago's top private schools, I have the skillset necessary to help students achieve success. I am excited to help a new generation of students learn to love the beauty of the Latin language and its history, as well as improve their ability to write poetry, literature, or persuasive essays. When I'm not working in academia, I like to spend my time traveling, writing, and playing tennis. Some of my favorite traveling experiences have been educational trips, where I accompanied high school students to various locations in the United States and Europe.
