I have a bachelor's degree in social work from Governors State University. I am currently in graduate school studying social work planning to obtain my masters in social work by June 2012 from UIC-Jane Addams College of Social Work. I graduated college with a 3.7 GPA.
Experience
I have experience tutoring relatives and friends. I scored high in Math on my ACT score. I want to be a tutor because my passion is helping others succeed whether it is academically and/or mentally. As a social worker I have a strong belief in the power of one's self to create positive change. I believe in empowerment and I love to challenge others, especially youth, in becoming well rounded individuals. I feel that I can do my part to help out by offering my tutoring services. I also have experience working with youth at a social service agency in Oak Forest, Illinois. I have worked with youth of various ages and I have incredible patience and a positive attitude to contribute.

Hobbies
I enjoy reading, listening to music, walking and writing. I write poetry during my free time. I also enjoy social activities with friends and famiy. I always love meeting new people and sharing substance filled conversation. I also love trying new foods! :)
