I am a ninth grade English teacher and specialize in topics such as reading comprehension, literary analysis, and essay writing. From grammar to SAT writing, I can help in many areas and also tutor history, social studies, and various parts of standardized tests. Any student preparing for the PSAT, SAT, ISEE, or HSPT tests can benefit from my assistance. Currently, I work with an AmeriCorps program, Blue Engine, and am a teaching assistant helping to provide in class tutoring for at risk students. I have always gotten great test scores and received my degree from the University of Chicago with top honors. Enthusiastic and dedicated, I excel in my own work and in helping others succeed. Now living in New York City, I use my spare time to enjoy theater, music, cooking, fitness, and thrift shopping.
