I earned my bachelor's degree in Writing and English from Southern Oregon State University. My experience teaching has been in China at an elementary school teaching English as a Foreign Language, in Chicago at a college tutoring English as a Second Language, and in Idaho and Oregon teaching K - 6 grade science for AmeriCorps. I have been successful with the students and watching them develop their skills is something I take pleasure in every time. I instill in all of the students I teach that education is crucial to leading a well-balanced life. When I am not tutoring or teaching, I like to play the guitar and drums, ride my bike, play music, and hang with friends watching sports. I currently reside in Chicago, IL. I am able to tutor in a wide variety of subjects.
