I am a 2016 graduate of Notre Dame, where I honed my problem solving skills in the top-ranked Mendoza College of Business. I am new to the Chicago area, but eager to start working with local students. My degree in Finance also provided a strong base in the subjects of accounting, statistics, and IT management. I completed an array of electives, including science courses in the Energy Studies program, as well as literature and poetry in the program of Liberal Studies. Additionally, my writing experience in the realms of research and creative writing make me an ideal instructor for essay writing, literature, and critical reading. I have tutored throughout my academic career, working in the subjects of math and english during high school. Later at ND, I tutored one on one with local middle schoolers in all subjects. I am inspired by guiding young minds to their fullest potential, and one of my greatest fulfillments is seeing a student's face light up when they truly understand something in a new way. My SAT and ACT scores are in the 99th percentile, and I was a National Merit Finalist in high school. I have experience with eight AP courses as well, including Biology, English Lit/Lang, and World History. I am a hard worker and a team player, participating in campus employment and student government throughout college.
