Hobbies

I love biking around austin, reading books on the foundations and philosophy of mathematics, the history of mathematics, and the sociology of deviancy. I also really enjoy mathematical logic (it was my favorite class). I'm a student at The University of Texas at Austin. B.S. Mathematics (Pure + Probability, Statistics, and Data Science) and Biochemistry (Pure) with the Elements of Computing Certificate. I am currently a research assistant in a adolescent developmental research psychology lab right now doing data science and math for them, but have previously done protein crystallization at the University of Texas and at Grand Valley State University. I also worked for a year at NASA Johnson Space Center doing space pharmacology research, studying how cosmic radiation and microgravity affected gene expression of enzymes involved in drug metabolism. I'm really really laid back, and can talk to almost anyone. I really love people, and love working through problems and finding exactly where the flaw in a train of thought lies. My mom was a science teacher, so I've helped her with people of all different ages my whole life learning about science. For my future, I would love to go to graduate school for mathematical biology.
