I am an experienced tutor (3 years). I recently graduated from University of California, Berkeley (the #1 public university in the world :O), majoring in Molecular Cell Biology, Immunology, Infectious Diseases. I have also worked as a pre-health peer adviser under UC Berkeley's pre-med advisers and I have taken the MCAT and am knowledgeable about being pre-med. Would totally be down to talk about pre-med stuff with any students interested!
Experience
Rate is flexible, especially if our meeting point in convenient / online tutoring or hours are stacked! I am tutor passionate about learning the concepts and skills that apply broadly across subjects and college. Not so much "teaching to the test" but teaching to foster critical and scientific thinking. I am very flexible with time, just reach out! I am an experienced tutor, mostly in chemistry and biology; organic chemistry tutoring experience in one on one, groups of ~10, groups of ~20, and lecture hall settings. College general biology 1 semester TA experience. But! I am confident in explaining science courses and tutoring up to and through college. I scored well on SAT, ACT, and MCAT.
