Experience
I am a graduate student here at UIC and I have a couple years of teaching experience - usually voluntary tutoring. I have been working with an NGO for almost 2 years and we used to have workshops for students who couldn't afford personal tutors. Besides this I have taught for two year during my undergrad to school students - grade 8 and 9 - a project called Junior Einstein. I can help students with test preparation too as I myself have given a couple of tests like GRE, TOEFL, CAT, AIEEE and other aptitude tests and i know how the questions can be solved effectively and efficiently. I have worked with Philips as a Lighting Application Specialist and given presentations/lectures at a couple of art and design schools. So, students who wish to improve their public speaking and presentation skills can also contact me. Maths and Physics have been my favorite subjects and that was why i decided to pursue engineering. I have read subjects in Maths, Physics and English from very basic to the advanced level, and I have a lot of practice solving and tackling aptitude problems. I take pleasure in being able to help an individual understand a topic and using patience until the students become a master of their coursework/topic.
