I have spent the last 7 years working as a tutor, teacher, counselor and adviser to students as young as Pre-K all the way through to the University level. Currently, I work as a graduate assistant in academic advising at Loyola University Chicago, where I tailor and deliver individual advising and tutoring plans so our students are in the best position possible to succeed in and out of the classroom. Through my studies in political science, I developed reading and writing strategies to comprehend and explain complex subject matter. This extends beyond political science into history, governments, literature, writing courses, and study skills. Having worked at an International Baccalaureate prep school and at the University level, I know what it takes to thrive in the middle and high school levels, and how to prepare students to flourish in college.
