Experience
I am a first-generation college graduate with majors in mathematics courses. Education has always held an important place in my life. I grew up helping my younger siblings with their school work. Later, I tutored classmates and neighbors in a variety of topics. As a tutor, my job is to work with the student to pinpoint their difficulties and overcome them. I want to help my student build the skills needed to succeed at a deeper level. I aim to create a creative environment that allows students to explore their ideas without feeling pressured. I believe it is beneficial for a student to understand their intuition and achieve their full potential. I tutor in all levels of math, such as AP statistics, college algebra, pre-calculus, and arithmetic. I work to impart my passion for education onto the students that I work with while offering engaging sessions constructed with the student's learning needs in mind. I remain flexible with my techniques and strategies, so that I can continuously adapt to my student's learning style. I can reinterpret the same concept in a variety of ways. In my free time, I love to cook for my family and friends, especially when I find a new recipe.
