I earned my bachelor's degree with a double major in Jewish Culture and Society, and Political Science. I studied at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. I'm currently applying for graduate programs, but have not yet narrowed down my choice of study. I hope to learn how our individual lives and political cultures are molded by the great ideas of history. I have attended both public and private schools, so I know the benefits and challenges faced by students in either environment. I've worked with many students, including pre-teens and teens who have special needs. I am pretty relaxed and able to work with any student, regardless of the particular challenge they are facing. I am certain that every student could love learning, and that many times, the social and classroom structures at school prevent that from happening. That is why I choose to tutor students on an individual basis. I focus on my students' particular needs, and help encourage them and promote their success. I can tutor a variety of subjects, including Hebrew, reading and writing, public speaking, history, religion, English, history, and more. In my free time, I enjoy writing, reading, biking, cooking, swimming, and building things with Legos.
