I'm originally from Puerto Rico, and I speak Spanish natively. I attended the University of Chicago to earn my bachelor's degree in history, and then went on to Northwestern University for my masters degree in education. I've also taught fifth grade level social studies and language arts. I'm certified as an elementary education teacher I'm also endorsed for social studies at the middle school level. I love education, and I enjoy helping students learn new things. In addition to Spanish and social studies topics, I can also help students prepare for the ACT, SAT, IB exams, AP exams, and others. Outside of academics, I enjoy politics and sports. When I have free time, I enjoy doing yoga, reading, cooking, watching TV, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
