As a senior in high school, the academic stress high school brings to students, especially juniors, is fresh in my mind. I understand the anxiety that SAT/ACT scores, AP tests, and GPAs expose students to. Having just completed the college process, I hope to improve not only the scores of these students but also their confidence going into the college process. I have competed and placed very well in a series of competition math, engineering, and physics competitions, and would be happy to share my results. If you would like to see a copy of my transcript, SAT/ACT scores, or AP scores, please notify me as well!

Hobbies

I know how stressful high school can be for students trying to balance athletics, extracurriculars, and a strong GPA. So some things about me other than some test scores? I'm a runner. I run varsity cross country and varsity track and field in the fall and spring respectively. However, my family is from Munich, Germany, so my favorite sport is naturally soccer, and I am a strong supporter of FC Bayern München. At Taft I have lived in the dormitories for four years, and for the last two of these years I served the school as a dormitory monitor. A monitor lives in a lower school dorm with freshmen and sophomores and mentors them in all aspects of life at Taft. I have spent two years working with kids of the 9th/10th grade age. Favorite movie: Zoolander Favorite book: Darkness at Noon (Arthur Koestler) Favorite TV show: Two and half men Interests/skills: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, chess, cooking, mountain climbing, cooking
