I enjoy helping students learn, and I like to use the teaching method that best fits the learning style of each student that I work with. I'm a graduate student with a strong academic background in the sciences, and I have several years of experience as a teacher. I also have strong communication skills, patience, creativity, and energy. These skills allow me to help students come to a better understanding of the material that we study together. I attended Emory University for my bachelor's degree in neuroscience and behavioral biology. I've also taught human health and biology. My background and experience allows me to tutor students in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, cell and molecular biology, elementary and middle school science, algebra, elementary math topics, environmental science, and more. I'm also very comfortable with standardized tests, and I can help students prepare for the GRE, MCAT, and other exams. When I have free time, I enjoy sports, getting outside, exercise, and music.
