Experience
I am a practicing attorney for a highly reputable law firm in Chicago, and hope one day to become a professor specializing in Constitutional Law and United States Legal History. Although I have no prior experience as a tutor, I have always been attracted to a career in teaching and cannot wait to start working with young men and women who share the same passion for learning and education as I do! I have taken and completed a full undergraduate course load in both Political Science and History, specializing in United States Government in the former and both European and United States History in the latter. While in law school, I interned for a Justice on the Iowa Supreme Court, a judge in the Circuit Court of Dane County (Madison, WI), and served as a Research Assistant. I am also happy to help students with academic writing. I have been published in Iowa's Journal of Corporation Law, and wrote award winning scholarly essays while at Iowa and UW.

Hobbies
In my free time I love being outdoors and staying active - golfing, hiking, traveling, playing sports, etc. I also love reading on all subjects history, and in doing so have continued developing my understanding of American, European, and World History. I am an inherently social, outgoing person and love meeting and talking with new people. I ultimately live by one theory: I should learn as much about the world and every person in it as I possibly can. More than anything else, it is perhaps this eagerness to learn that I hope to pass to a younger generation.
