Linguistics is an extremely interesting subject. It is the study of how people speak, and the mechanics and processes of language usage within various cultures. Because the study of linguistics involves critical analysis, I apply this skill to analyzing the learning patterns of my students, which improves my tutoring technique. I am currently enrolled at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, where I major in French and minor in English. After I obtain my bachelor's degree from North Central College, my plan is to obtain a master's degree in French-English translation. Languages are extremely interesting and stimulating to learn, because each language is distinct, and there are so many different languages in the world to learn. If I could, I would spend my entire life trying to learn every single language on Earth! My specialty is tutoring French, as I find it to be a beautiful and intricate language that is steeped in years of history and a unique culture. It is a pleasure to teach French. In my free time, I love to read various forms of literature, create art, and write poetry.
