I attended Cornell College and the University of St. Francis. I have my certification to teach middle and elementary school. Right now, I work as a sixth grade learning and behavior specialist at a public school in my city of Chicago, Illinois. In the past, I taught pre-k, and grades three, four, and five. I would say that math is my area of strong suit. However, I specialize in many other subjects. My subjects of specialty include: reading, writing, phonics, literature, French, homework help, and test prep skills.My passion for working with kids is what leads me in my career. I am intrigued by the differing needs of students and figuring out the best ways to support them in their academic endeavors. When I am not teaching, I really like to travel to new places. I enjoy going to music festivals and spending quality time with my family, as well.
