Private tutor in Chicago, IL

University of Chicago - Bachelors, Political Science

For three years now, I have tutored ACT, LSAT, SAT, and AP test prep as well as academic/creative writing and general studies. I tutor calculus, statistics, algebra, and many levels of math, English, reading, literature, grammar, history, economics, science, social studies, and various other IB and AP level courses. My belief is we all have unique ways of learning. What I love about one on one tutoring is figuring out how to get that light bulb to turn on for an individual. I approach teaching by how one handles facts and concepts, reacts while taking tests, and how I can help achieve their goals. In 2009, I graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in Statistics and Political Science. I put a lot of energy into tutoring, but also do data science at a start up company. Also, I enjoy creative writing, doing stand up comedy, and playing basketball.
