I started teaching at a young age when I would provide trumpet lessons for my peers. From there, I began tutoring students in Microsoft Access and Excel while attending Indiana University at Bloomington, helping them to understand the concepts associated with this software. Now, having just returned from living in Madrid, Spain for a year, I wish to continue tutoring and teaching others in Spanish, English, and algebra.When tutoring, I try to keep things as light as possible. I integrate activities and games into my sessions, as I believe that this presents the material in a different manner and can help my students to stay focused. I am a cheerful and lively person who is always looking to make others happy. I enjoy meeting new people and learning different skills. I try to associate myself with knowledgeable people who will be able to teach me new things.Whenever I have some time away from teaching and tutoring, I enjoy cycling, running, reading, cooking, and meeting new people. I also love adventure, as proven by the fact that I ran with the bulls while in Spain. I plan on completing my first triathlon in the near future.
