Experience
I am currently attending Lake Forest College, earning a degree in Biology. In addition to Lake Forest, I am a student this semester at School of the Art Institute of Chicago in order to complete a minor in Visual Arts. I am a native of Wisconsin, and am a fan of the Packers and Badgers. I have experience teaching students in elementary school through high school in numerous subjects, and am very effective at helping students who may be struggling. I find enjoyment in providing these students the encouragement they need to succeed. In addition to reading and mathematics, I can tutor students in biology, chemistry, English, social studies, and life sciences. I am also able to offer help with study skills, organization, and handwriting. I feel my education is also an effective tool in my tutoring; I have a very diverse education, which allows me to apply multiple perspectives to solving a learning problem. In my spare time, I enjoy running, skiing, photography, coffee, and looking for the next adventure.
