I currently reside in Newton Center, Massachusetts. I am a recent graduate of Carleton College, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Media Studies. I'm an experienced writer and editor of grant proposals. Among the positive qualities I bring to tutoring are patience, earnestness, and an easygoing attitude, all of which make me approachable to my students when they have problems.I am available to tutor a variety of subjects, including middle school math, pre-algebra, all levels of algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, geometry, reading, writing, essay editing, literature, grammar and mechanics, general homework support, and art. I can also assist students in preparing for standardized exams such as the PSAT, SAT, and GRE, and in writing their college admissions essays. I am also available to tutor during the summer months.In my spare time, I enjoy seeing movies, photography, reading, traveling, being outdoors, watching football, running, and punning.
