Look, I may have graduated from one of the top small private colleges in the country with majors in Physics and Mathematics, but I promise you that I spent far more time developing myself outside of a formal classroom setting. I subscribe to a much more holistic view of education - to me it far more important to first become fascinated with a topic than to worry about getting a good grade. If you fascinate a person with a topic, the grade will come naturally. So, my goal with my students is to not only improve grades, but help change the perception of their subjects so they WANT to learn.

Hobbies
In my free time I am a swing dancing and blues dancing instructor, as well as a local blues DJ. I am an Eagle Scout who is still active in his troop in MN as an Assistant Scoutmaster, and I've worked in Residence Life at colleges for 3 years. Finally, I am a staunch supporter of activity in our communities. I feel like it is incredibly important for my students to understand how their education is applicable to the real world.
