Education
Political Science major at Roosevelt University. My educational background is in politics, foreign policy and international relations. I have a BA (2005) and a MA (2014) in political science. Also, I have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language certification to help individuals succeed in becoming fluent English speakers. TEFL certification completed June 2015.
Experience
I currently tutor ESL with Literacy Chicago. My previous experience is in tutoring politics and government through the federal Trio Programs to high school and college students. I want to be a tutor because I am passionate about helping people develop the skills they need to achieve their goals. My coursework included Public Service in the U.S., Political Theory, Comparative Politics & International Relations and Problems in U.S. Foreign Policy, among other classes in the field of politics and government. Additionally, I currently work in the legal field as a paralegal which has made me keen on detail, organized and resourceful in gathering information and materials which can be helpful in supporting a students needs.
