I like to use analogies when teaching students concepts, tying together theoretical math/science problems with real life examples. I think it's important to appreciate all subjects; for example, both math and literature are beautiful in their own ways. I also enjoy talking about current events and learning about my students themselves.
HobbiesPodcasts, story slams, cooking, hiking, bioethics, philosophical implications of neuroscience, stand-up comedy, jazz
