I attended Smith College and the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My professional experience includes working with the community and students through a career prep program at a local community college. Now, I am teaching rehabilitation to those who suffer from mental delays and illnesses. As a tutor, my areas of expertise lie in Italian, reading, writing, essay writing, grammar, American history, social studies, Psychology, public speaking, and test preparation.I am knowledgeable in resume creation and in helping other people learn to craft them in such a way that benefits their career endeavors. In my current job, those I work with are often not capable (or very limited in their capabilities) of living day to day life on their own. These interactions require a great deal of patience and compassion on my part, so these are skills that will be an asset in any tutoring relationship I conduct.My interests outside of teaching include singing and creative writing.
