I have graduated from medical school with 2nd place in my class with honors in 9 subjects including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics. I have cleared all my United States Medical Licensing Exams with a Step One score of 264 and Step 2 Ck score of 259, considered to be in the top 1 percentile. I have applied for residency in internal medicine through the match program. I have been tutoring in various subjects throughout medical school. I really enjoy teaching because it allows for exchange of ideas and knowledge. My teaching methods include breaking down a topic into parts and explaining each section with the help of examples and references. I also formulate mnemonics to help my students retain things like drug names, various classifications of micro-organisms, muscle attachments etc. My goal is to make the student enjoy the subject they are currently studying and I achieve that by creating a positive and open learning environment. My nature is easy going and patient. I try to bring positive energy to studying and make difficult medical concepts palatable. My students usually end up not only getting good grades, but also developing genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
