Peer mentor at SAIC 880/900 SAT Subject Test in Literature 5 on the AP Exams for both Literature & Composition and Language & Composition 5 on the AP Studio Art exam I am a Junior in the Visual and Critical Studies program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC.) I am focusing between writing, photography and video art, though I have skills/coursework in Fiber arts and Painting/Drawing. Past work experience has included intern positions at museums and galleries; some of my duties have included writing press releases, writing and editing web content and producing educational content about the collections. I have tutored English Language and Literature in high school and was just recently selected as a peer mentor at SAIC. As a tutor, I aim to meet students where they are and work to build not only their technical skills, but also their creativity and critical thinking regarding their area of study.
