current PhD student at Loyola University- 2013 - received Master's of Social work with a concentration in school social work and a sub-specialty in immigration and migration 2010 - B.A. from University of Wisconsin-Madison

Experience

*currently working towards a doctoral degree *current school social worker in a elementary/middle school *worked as school social work intern for juniors at Evanston Township High School *worked in a middle school as a Youth Advocate, where I supported students with both academic and social skills (8th and 9th graders) *taught ESL for 5 years now. I lived abroad in Peru, Costa Rica and Panama, I interned with The Literacy Network, I have taught at Refugee Cooperative Services and at Centro Hispano. I studied abroad in Mexico City. *I led an academic enrichment club for 2nd graders in the afternoon, where we focus on math and literacy. *I have lots of Spanish-speaking experience. *My evenings have some free time, which I would love to use to continue my work. Tutoring seems to be a great extension to my already academic-focused day.
