Private tutor in Chicago, IL
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign - BS, Industrial Engineering
I work as a derivatives trader, which means that every day I continually use and refine my skill set of economics, finance, math, and statistics. My motivation for tutoring is not based on money. I am driven to help students find success in their class and to reach a better grasp of the material simply because I think it is important. I am confident I can help you improve from wherever it is you are starting. I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. While there, I served in a number of roles related to teaching and tutoring. I mentored students in classes for Calculus 1, 2, and 3. For a higher level course in engineering, I was the project manager. And, I worked as class assistant for a year and half in a course on Differential Equations. My responsibilities included grading assignments and organizing and leading group study sessions. Subjects that I can tutor include Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 -4 , Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1 - 3, Differential Equations, Geometry, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Statistics, Trig, and Microeconomics. I can also help with test preparation for the ACT (Science and Math) and the Graduate Record Examination. I live in Chicago, Illinois. Outside of tutoring, I am into cooking, fitness, psychology, and tennis.
