Two years of tutoring at the college level. I have taken my MCAT and have a solid score. I do not tutor for MCAT but have knowledge of biological and physical sciences. Have taken a variety of upper level biomedical science electives so I have a well rounded science background. As part of my thesis work I have recently published my work in a quality peer reviewed journal. I currently work in a tumor immunology lab at Northwestern at the downtown Chicago campus. Some education background so I have knowledge of working with different learning styles and customizing teaching strategies. Interested in biomedical science, tumor immunology and cancer research. As a past education major I have always had the desire to help and teach. In research, experiments are constantly failing, so it's nice when I help someone learn something new. I pride myself on teaching understanding of concepts rather than memorizing or just giving answers. I do expect a certain level of commitment and effort from my clients, which I will always match, in order to make progress. I like to have very open and honest communication with my clients to increase efficiency. I have always approached studying not as a chore but as a tool for success and better understanding of the world.
