I have a degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois, a Master's Degree from Arizona State University in Education and Leadership and a reading endorsement from ASU and Phoenix University. I have been in education for the past 7 years- I've taught 2nd grade for a year, 5th grade for 3 years, oversaw a program with 6-8 graders focusing on English Language Arts and taught kindergarten over the summer.
Experience
Each year I taught I tutored my students either before or after school. This was the most optimal time to reach a child on an individual basis and ensure he or she grasped the necessary information. I believe wholeheartedly that each child has the ability to succeed in school- and I'm here to help!
