Experience
I'm currently a graduate student in the Master's of Fine Arts program for creative writing at Columbia College Chicago, where I teach first-year Writing and Rhetoric class and tutor writing in the Learning Studio. Previously, I worked at West Virginia University in the Writing Center, and as a research assistant for the West Virginia Dialect Project. I have tutored proficient native English speakers as well as beginning students learning English as an additional language, and I have tutored both in writing centers and privately.

Hobbies
I enjoy reading and writing! I write essays, poems, and TV reviews simply for the fun of it. I spent fifteen years in dance classes and several years in music lessons, and still like to find the time to dabble in both. In my spare time I like to go to theatre, improv, and art shows around Chicago and support my fellow artists.
