Experience
I'm currently a graduate student in the Master's of Fine Arts program for creative writing at Columbia College Chicago, where I teach first-year Writing and Rhetoric class and tutor writing in the Learning Studio. Previously, I worked at West Virginia University in the Writing Center, and as a research assistant for the West Virginia Dialect Project. I have tutored proficient native English speakers as well as beginning students learning English as an additional language, and I have tutored both in writing centers and privately.
