Wheaton College Graduate School, MA: TESOL& Intercultural Studies, Magna Cum Laude, 2006 - I taught ESL for World Relief while i was in school and for a semester after I graduated. Toccoa Falls College, BA: Counseling Skills & Cross cultural Studies. Summa Cum Laude, 2001 - I played soccer, worked for the admissions office, and was an RA all while maintaining a high GPA.
Experience
I have been teaching ESL for 7 years. I have taught academic writing and TOEFL classes and love helping students learn how to express themselves in writing. I lived in Mongolia and studied Mongolian language one-on-one with a tutor myself, so I know what it is like to be on both sides of the tutoring relationship. I want to be a tutor, because I have two children and would like to work in a flexible job so that I can still spend quality time with them.

Hobbies
I love traveling and trying foods from all over the world. One of my favorite things to do is watch travel food documentaries and dream of eating all sorts of delicious food. I have two young children and love being a mom but also really miss being a teacher. I hope that being a tutor will be a way for me to experience the joys of helping students learn new things again.
