I am currently a junior at the University of Illinois, Chicago pursuing a degree in the teaching of history. I hope to also graduate with a minor in biology.
Experience
I served as a teaching assistant to a first grade classroom during the 2008-2009 school year in Bloomington Indiana. I've also completed an education psychology class wherein I learned valuable pedagogical techniques like culturally-centered versus teacher-centered teaching.
