I have almost ten years of experience as a teacher, and have worked with students in many different disciplines at many levels. I've received a lot of positive feedback about my teaching, and feel confident about my expertise. I make sure to utilize a lot of different educating strategies in order to accommodate diverse student needs and capacities. I can tutor students in many subjects, including Math, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Religious Studies. More specifically, I can teach Writing, Geography, A.P. U.S. History, A.P. Comparative Government and Politics, IB Global Politics, IB Philosophy, IB Social and Cultural Anthropology, IB Theory of Knowledge, and IB World Religions. I can work on test preparation, as well (CAHSEE, HSPT, ACT, ISEE). My educational background includes time at the University of St. Thomas and Loyola Marymount University. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, art, being outdoors, going to movies, listening to music, and watching sports.
