I have Bachelor's Degree from Loyola University Chicago in Art History and International Relations with minors in Italian Language and Literature and International Business. I am also a certified ESL tutor with Literacy Works and have over 50 hours of training. I have taught ESL for about 9 years now with various schools.
Experience
I have tutored Italian and art history privately for about a year and I have taught Italian in a classroom setting for several months this past winter. I took AP Art History in high school and am familiar with the course material and curriculum. I am a near native speaker of the language and have lived in Italy for various periods of time over my life. I am very familiar with the culture and colloquial language. I have tutored ESL professionally in private and classroom settings both in the United States and in Italy. I have taught at several schools in both nations, including with Loyola University Chicago and the British School Group in Rome. Regarding Art History, I am more versed in contemporary art, but have studied all periods quite extensively.
