Experience
I just finished a year with Americorps where I tutored 8th grade students that were below grade level in English Reading/Writing in order to help them achieve grade level before going on to high school. Throughout this year I also provided after school tutoring and helped children from 4th-8th grade with homework in all subjects. I am currently going to grad school in order to obtain a M.A.T. and working on being certified to teach in Illinois so that I can teach elementary school this coming fall.
