I have a MS in Physiology from Georgetown University (2013) and a BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2011)

Experience

I previously tutored math in high school and chemistry in college. I am very passionate about biology and teaching I hope to continue with these interests as I begin medical school in the fall. I am well versed in biological concepts and have ample experience in biomedical research from working at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). I believe it is really important to try to encourage and inspire students to go into STEM fields and I would help students on their path to a lifelong interest in the sciences. I tend to push my students, but leave enough room for them to meet me halfway (or partway) and appreciate the value of hard work.
