Working as a translator and interpreter for more than six years, I've been provided with extensive linguistic and cultural insights, necessary to help someone learn or practice a language through perfect immersion (particularly French and Swahili, my native languages). Raised between DRC and Rwanda in very poor settings, my first tutoring experience was helping my siblings raise their grades in school. It later turned from a task to a passion, working together towards a common goal, while learning from each other. An enjoyable and effective tutoring experience is one that inextricably relates to the pupil's hobbies and interests, using them as a bridge to attain their educational goals. Forget about boring language classes. Having fun is the best way to learn, even the toughest subjects.
