I am a dedicated tutor, looking to help students excel at school and develop study styles and methods that best work for them. I spent time tutoring in Evanston, Illinois with Boys Hope Girls Hope. I provided tutoring to both middle school and high school students, assisting them with English and Spanish. I completed my education at Northwestern University. My schooling helped me develop many skills, several of which I now share with my students.I particularly enjoy teaching English classes, offering assistance with Creative and Fiction Writing, Reading, American and British Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, and Essay Editing. I also speak Spanish, and offer Spanish levels 1 through 4 to students hoping to become fluent in the language, and I provide English as a Second Language to native Spanish speakers. Science courses are another popular offering of mine, ranging from basic Science to Anatomy, Nutrition, and even Psychology. I have a strong focus on Test Prep and have experience helping students prepare for exams like the SAT and ACT. I help students find test-taking strategies that work for them. My hobbies include writing fiction and reading. I also enjoy biking, running, and dancing.
