Graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.S. in Psychology, in addition to a minor in Fashion Merchandising. Throughout my college career I have earned a Teaching Apprenticeship in my Psychology 3000: Statistics for Behavioral Sciences course. In addition, I served as a Crisis Hotline operator for Gryphon Place.
Experience
Previous tutoring experience includes a Teaching Apprenticeship for my Psychology 3000: Statistics for Behavioral Sciences, in which I would hold weekly study sessions for students who needed a little extra help with the material we covered that week in class. Throughout the course of the class, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know and teaching my fellow students, and watching them succeed after discussing the issues they were having with the course. In addition to my tutoring experience, I have ample amount of communication experience. With WMU having a primarily behavioral based program, I have learned the techniques needed to reinforce certain behaviors and decrease others, in this case reinforce positive study habits and decrease unmotivated study habits.

Hobbies
I am a very artistic person. I enjoy fashion, photography, television, and film. I love any and all television/movies from dark gritty dramas to classic sitcoms. Although I am an artistic person, I have no problem working with students who interests differ than mine! Getting to work with students who are different than me not only allows me to adapt my teaching skills, but allows me to open my eyes to different interests among the students as well!
