I was a teacher assistant in an after school arts class consisting of 1st - 5th graders. I assisted the students with their homework prior to teaching them and helping them learn basic painting and sculptural techniques. I worked at the elementary school for 2 school years. I graduated from Whitney Young Magnet High School and went to Moraine Valley Community College to save money. There I was placed on the President's List for academic achievement and also went on a study abroad trip to Spain. I have lots of experience working with all age groups and different personality types so I know I interact well with different people.
