I love tutoring students in all aspects of writing, including everything from basic grammar to advanced college-level essay writing. Teaching my students to write comes easy for me, since I love both writing and teaching so much. I tutor students of all ages, from young children to college students, although I specialize as a Varsity tutor. I have vast experience in persuasive writing, research, and expository writing. I love helping students take writing tasks from something they once found frustrating to projects they actually enjoy. I do this by helping them learn to forget bad writing habits and learn new habits that not only improve their writing, but make writing easier and even fun for them. I also teach them general tips for studying that can be used for the rest of their lives, in all classes they take. I attended Trinity University, where I earned my bachelors' degrees in both Political Science and the Mandarin language. I also took advantage of Fulbright Grant that led me to China, where I researched policies in HIV and AIDS. I am originally from Austin, although I spent much of my life in Portland, Oregon. I am now back in Texas and enjoying every minute of it. My hobbies include running and enjoying the great music venues here in Austin.
