Education

I attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a BA in English as well as a, Secondary Education Certification in 6-12 English and History. I am currently pursuing my MA in Reading from Roosevelt University and the licensing to become a Reading Specialist.

Experience

I have previously have tutored privately with all high school subjects as well as all ACT subjects. I currently teach 10th grade English, and have taught middle school reading, writing, and early high school math. University honors 4 times at the University of Michigan. I love both watching and playing sports, as well as talking about sports! I used to work as a sports journalist, so I love the idea of being able to combine a passion of writing with a passion of sports! Outside of sports, I love to spend time outside, cook, shop, and spend time with my friends and family. I'm also an avid reader and try to stay current with both the NY Times Bestsellers list, as well as the NY Times Young Adult Bestsellers. I love the Divergent and Hunger Games series!
