4 Years Teaching Assistant Experience: Worked SAIC's Continuing Studies Young Artists Programs; Taught 3-8 year olds I have worked with many well known artists that teach at my school. I was a studio assistant to fiber artist Karolina Gnatowski, helping her create work; install and uninstall gallery shows. I volunteer with an organization called Committed Knitters. We volunteer two times a week for a few hours at Cook County Jail and Haymarket, teaching women how to knit and crochet. My Fiber Skills: Hand embroidery, spinning thread/yarn, weaving on and off the loom, soft sculpture, felting, natural/chemical dying. Skilled at hand/machine sewing. Experienced in machine/hand knitting. Talented in crochet.
