Experience
I am extremely passionate about learning, and not towards a test. The love of learning is a way of life and one that I hope to inspire in young people. Although I have no formal teacher training, I acted as a study group leader all throughout college and taught lessons as a part of my psychology and theater curriculum. As a member of Psi Chi and Alpha Psi Omega, I pledged a lifelong commitment to further those respective fields of study and spread knowledge for the greater good. I have been a camp counselor the past two summers for the Vocal Arts Academy in Lake Forest where I taught theater games and performance tips for budding vocalists (ages 14-19). In high school I tutored social studies as a part of National Honors Society. I was also a counselor/teacher/wrangler for an equine summer camp whose mission was to empower young girls through horsemanship as they navigated adolescence. This past fall I completed the Kemper Arts Management Internship at Victory Gardens Theater where I worked with the Finance, Development, Marketing, Box Office, and Administration departments on a daily basis.
