I can be found playing in my regular orchestral position, with my fusion rock band, or singing and playing keys at my church. I have years of experience as a full time nanny and private clarinet instructor. I love helping students to perform at their best, whether it be conquering a tough piece of music, or understanding some challenging homework. I have a wide range of teaching and professional performance experience including: -Ten years as a private and group clarinet instructor, including college audition preparation at a competitive level -Early childhood music instructor -Elementary school musicianship/ music theory instructor -Employed as an orchestral clarinetist -Well versed in the standard classical repertoire as well as in jazz improvisation and a wide variety of musical styles including Dixieland, free improvisation, and extended technique for contemporary music settings
